looopoi
Built by a duty operations manager, not a software company

the whole venue,
in one loop.

A guest speaks. Your duty manager knows in seconds. The staff member who fixed it gets the credit. Leadership sees all of it live. looopoi closes the loop that every other system leaves open.

02 — the problem

most venues find out
hours too late.

One bad review, one unrecognised staff member, one unread shift report. Individually survivable. They compound every single week.

01
complaints go cold
A guest rates one star and walks out. Nobody knows until it's a Google review, and by then the only move left is an apology.
1 bad review costs an average of 30 customers — Womply
02
shift data disappears
Paper notes, WhatsApp threads, verbal handover at the door. Nothing searchable. Nothing that compounds into something you can act on.
NZ hospitality turnover up to 88% — MBIE 2024
03
staff go unnoticed
No recognition in the moment it was earned. Your best people leave because nobody was watching on the night it mattered.
Replacing one team member costs USD $5K–$16K — Cornell
04
leadership flies blind
Multi-venue operators hear about last night on a phone call this morning. There is no live view, so there is no live decision.

04 — recognition

your staff
review their
managers back.

Most tools measure staff in one direction only. looopoi measures both — because the reason good event staff don't come back is rarely the work.

manager → staff
managers review the team

Ten taps, under a minute. Punctuality, presentation, safety, guest handling, performance under pressure, teamwork, comms discipline, initiative — and the question that matters most: would you roster them again?

staff → manager
staff review the manager

Anonymously, if they choose. Was I briefed properly? Did I have the equipment I needed? Was I treated with respect? Did I feel safe? Were my breaks given? Would I work this manager's event again?

scored out of 100

Both directions score out of 100 and feed a live leaderboard — week, month, quarter, year. Visible in the Command Center.

built on real standards

Staff-to-manager questions are grounded in the Gallup Q12 engagement framework and eNPS. Two map directly to health and safety and rest break obligations.

anonymity that's actually anonymous

Submit anonymously and the reviewer's identity is not stored against the review. Not hidden — not stored. Results stay locked until no individual can be identified.

casual event staff are the least-reviewed workforce in hospitality, and the fastest to leave.

07 — why looopoi

three systems
that don't talk

11 — common questions

before you ask.

looopoi is operational intelligence software for restaurants, bars, pubs and event venues. It connects guest feedback from a table QR code, live duty manager alerts, automatic staff recognition, two-way staff and manager reviews, shift and event wash-up reports, and a multi-venue Command Center in one system. Three modules: LoyalLoop for guest loyalty in cafés, restaurants and bars, StarLoop for daily hospitality service, and EventLoop for events, galas and functions. Buy one, add another when you want it.
Most tools collect feedback and stop there. looopoi connects the whole chain: the guest speaks, the duty manager is alerted in real time, the staff member who resolved it is recognised automatically, and leadership sees it across every venue. Your staff also review their managers back, not just the other way around. One system, one closed loop.
A guest scans the QR code or taps the NFC tag on their table. In under 30 seconds they give a rating, pick a category, leave a comment and name the staff member who served them. The duty manager's screen updates instantly — no refresh needed.
All prices are in New Zealand dollars. LoyalLoop is NZ$79 per venue per month for guest loyalty on its own, and the first 10 New Zealand cafés and restaurants pay NZ$49 held for twelve months. Solo is NZ$329 per venue per month for a single venue with full StarLoop. Growth is NZ$249 per venue per month for 2 to 5 venues and includes the Command Center. Group pricing is custom for 6 or more venues or event operators. Every plan starts with 30 days free on one venue, no credit card.
Yes. LoyalLoop is sold on its own at NZ$79 per venue per month, and the first 10 New Zealand venues pay NZ$49 held for twelve months. You get points, stamp cards, rewards and the guest wallet, with no feedback or events features cluttering the screen. If you want to add StarLoop later we switch it on — nothing to install and nothing to migrate.
No. They scan the QR code on the table and their loyalty card opens in their phone's browser. Nothing to download, nothing to sign into, no plastic card to lose.
Your duty manager gets an alert within seconds, usually while the guest is still on the premises. A manager can then add recovery points to that guest's loyalty wallet in one tap, so the complaint becomes the reason they come back rather than the reason they don't. Most loyalty apps never know a complaint happened, and most feedback tools cannot do anything about it.
You can offer it, but it can't be the main event. New Zealand law permits loyalty schemes only where rewards are not primarily applied to the purchase of alcohol, and free alcohol can't be advertised where it's visible from outside the premises. looopoi defaults to food and non-alcoholic rewards and flags alcohol ones, so you don't put your licence at risk without knowing.
Yes. 30 days, one venue, no credit card, no auto-charge when it ends. We ask for your business details so the venue is configured properly before you log in.
Yes. Most hospitality software only measures staff; looopoi measures in both directions. After each shift or event both directions score out of 100 across ten items, taking under a minute. Staff can submit anonymously — where they do, the reviewer's identity is not stored against the review at all. Results stay hidden until enough people have responded that no individual can be identified.
Yes. The Command Center shows every venue live on one screen: open complaints, readiness, incidents, revenue by shift and staff leaderboards across all locations.
Yes. EventLoop is built for galas, functions and one-off events. You create the event, it generates a readiness checklist by department, tracks incidents live, and writes an AI wash-up report at the end.
Logan is the built-in AI operations assistant. Duty managers ask Logan questions in real time — how to handle a complaint, what to do about a no-show, how to process a refund. Conversations stay in your account and are never used to train external models. Logan is decision support, not a decision maker.
Each client's data is isolated to their own account. Guest, staff and revenue data is never shared between clients, never sold, and never used to train external AI models. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and our infrastructure providers hold SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification. looopoi is an early-stage company and is not yet certified as an organisation — we'd rather tell you that plainly. Full detail on our Security page.
Most single venues are live within one business day. Add your venue, add your staff, print your table QR codes. Groups get a 30-minute onboarding call.
No lock-in on Solo or Growth. Month to month, cancel any time. Group plans can take an optional annual agreement at a discount.
Yes. It works in any market and any timezone. Prices are published in New Zealand dollars and can be quoted in AUD, USD, SGD, AED or GBP on request.
